Future Forwards CBO is a youth-led initiative established to empower refugee youth in Kakuma Refugee Camp through academic mentorship, life skills development, leadership training, and digital literacy.

Our Story

Recognizing the barriers refugee youth face in accessing quality education and opportunities, Future Forwards was founded to bridge that gap. Our vision is to nurture a generation of informed, skilled, and confident youth who can lead change within their communities and beyond.

Equipping youth with ICT skills, coding, and online collaboration tools.

Youth Empowerment & Inclusion

Creating platforms for youth voices, civic engagement, and talent development.

Our Impact

Educated over 5,000 youth through workshops and mentorship programs.
Launched 10 women-led community initiatives promoting gender equity.
Trained 200 youth as peace ambassadors in Kakuma.
Collaborated with 15 local and international organizations to improve community services.

Target Group

Refugee and host community youth aged 12–30 in Kakuma and surrounding areas.
